Before you send it.
Is my kite worth repairing?
Send photos and we will tell you. If the answer is no, we say so and you have paid nothing. Gear that is genuinely past economical repair is usually canopy material gone soft across the whole kite, not a single tear.
What will it cost?
Every job is quoted individually once we have seen it. Two tears in the same place can be twenty minutes apart in work. The quote is free and nothing starts until you approve it.
How long does it take?
Five working days from arrival is standard. Flag the request urgent if you are travelling and we will tell you what can be cleared before you fly.
Where do I drop the gear off?
We tell you once you have written to us. There is no single published address: the drop-off point is chosen for where you live or ride, and it comes back with your quote along with its hours. If nothing is close enough, a prepaid label collects the gear from your door anywhere in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Can I come to the workshop instead?
Yes. The bench is in Brussels and you are welcome to hand the gear over in person, by appointment once the job is quoted.
How should I pack a kite for shipping?
Deflate completely, roll rather than fold, and send the bar and lines in a separate bag. Photograph the damage before you pack, in case anything shifts in transit.
Do you work on brands that are not on your list?
Yes. The list is what comes through the door most often, not a limit. Send photos of anything.
Will the repair show?
On a canopy, yes. We match colour as closely as the stock allows, and we tell you before we start if it will be obvious. On boards, carbon and fairing work usually disappears under the finish.
Do you repair Aluula and D-LAB?
Yes, heat welded on a temperature-controlled station. These composites cannot be sewn or glued like Dacron, and a repair done the wrong way will fail.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Twelve months on our workmanship. If a seam we sewed opens or a patch we laid lifts, it comes back and we redo it at no charge.
Can you service gear over the winter?
Yes, and it is the right time for it. Bladders, seams, lines, bar and inserts all checked before the first good day rather than after it.
Question not here?
Send photos with the request. It reaches the bench directly and comes back as an answer, not a ticket.
